proposed inclosed deck where owner plans to make a screened area versus what the plans specified as a complete shear wall. All hold downs, squash blocking needs to be completed.

Shear was not done, he is still working on hold downs and had not gotten to shearwall.
I was able to verify underfloor holddowns, he will be connecting all thread to bring through sub floor framing.ok to take pictures after all thread is placed to shear underfloor pony wall. I've asked him to mark and number each one and take pictures.

3. Anchor bolt missing nuts and 3”x3” plates at several locations. Provide required nuts and plates.
4. Plans indicate HDU2’s & HDU4’s to be installed, several locations substituted for other models of HD devices. Provide written approval from the engineer of record for design alteration or equal.
5. Threaded rod shear transfer not installed at cripple wall HD locations per plans. Provide shear transfer per plans or written approval from engineer of record or equa.
6. Squash blocking missing from posts, built up studs at several locations. Provide positive full depth blocking or equal at posts and built up studs (HD shear transfer locations).

No one on site. Owner or contractor needs to be on site because questions need to be answered to proceed with this project. Roofing installed without inspection and underfloor frame and plumbing are not approved. Lights will need to be provided to inspect under floor framing, plumbing and shear transfer. Make contact with inspector prior to re inspection.
