Swimming pool contractor hired to build pool for customer, contractor got as far as completing the pre-gunite portion of pool and homeowner decided he wants to add a grotto to the back side of pool. Pool contractor didnt want anything to do with the addition per homeowner, so homeowner went and constructed the shell for the grotto without any Approved plans through the county. Advised homeowner to submit drawings and plans for the addition of the grotto to Butte Co. for plan check before any more inspections are called in.

Per contractor the pool will be permit approved plans for rock wall and not do grotto.
